Until recently I was trying to make it seem like I had a really good assistant updating this site, but okay, it’s just me, trying to keep my published essays and interviews and other professional shenanigans in one spot, because I often meet someone and think, “I should send you the link to that thing I wrote that is about exactly what we’re talking about,” so here it is, for people I’ve met, and also people I haven’t.

I’ve been lucky enough to write and produce TV shows including Modern Family, Sex and the City, and Everybody Loves Raymond.   I most recently worked with Sharon Horgan and Paul Simms on an upcoming HBO comedy called Divorce, which stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Thomas Haden Church.

I’ve also written two books: “The Between Boyfriends Book” (a New York Times bestseller!), and my new comic memoir about marriage “The Longest Date: Life as a Wife,” which was released in paperback in December 2014.
